Remembering El Flaco Dany
We remember one of our beloved teachers, El Flaco Dany. He was one of the few remaining milongueros from the golden era, tango history itself, and our friend.
During his stay at Caminito Amigo in July 2018, we learned what made him so adored around the world. He was a connection to a past that is fading into memory. To be with him was to be a part of the golden era of tango. He pulled time forward for us to see how it was.
We take his teachings and experiences forward with us in each dance. He continues to live through us.
