About Fabian Salas
Fabián Salas is a famous Master Argentine Tango dancer, teacher, and choreographer from Buenos Aires, with over 30 years of professional experience. Partnered with his wife, Lola Diaz, they have taught thousands of tango fans worldwide and specifically in Argentina, Brazil, USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, UK, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Norway, Finland, Russia, Greece, Turkey, and other countries.
In 1992, Fabian became one of the first professional touring teachers in history and in 1995, he pioneered the development of a revolutionary way of understanding, teaching and dancing the tango. Fabian assisted in filming the famous motion picture "Evita" in 1996, and a year later became internationally recognized for his principal dance role in the award-winning film "The Tango Lesson." Since then, Fabian hosted BBC’s “The real… Buenos Aires” and “BBC World Services Radio.”
For dance education, Fabian is recognized as a Master Teacher and currently leads the tango organizations Cosmotango and TangoPal. He distributes his series of instructional videos to teach authentic Tango in 10 easy lessons. In the world of tango events, Fabian heads up the single most influential tango event-- CITA (Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino). It is deemed the world's most important and longest running annual tango event, which brings together tango lovers, practitioners and leading tango artists in the Argentine capital.

About Lola Diaz
Lola Díaz’s role in dance education began when she was only five years old. When she was 7, she was enrolled in the famous Teatro Colón School of Dance, where she studied all dance genres from Jazz and Modern to Tango, and namely classical ballet under the world-renowned Julio Bocca until the age of 16-- at which time, she became permanent staff of the theatre from 1999 to 2002. Later, Lola would teach Tango at the famous Buenos Aires school, La Viruta, for four years.
As a lead Tanguera, Lola has participated in various dance productions, including as the principal lady and assistant choreographer with Pablo Verón in 2006’s “Tango Hereje,” as lead lady and choreographer in the 2007 production “Nexus,” and “La hora del Tango” with Pablo Verón at the Festival Classico Pompeiano in 2007. Since 2009, Lola is a very active teacher, performer and CITA organizer with her husband, Fabián.
