Every Tuesday is Tango Tuesday

This class is for all Argentine Tango beginners and those that are fascinated with Argentine Tango. It is also beneficial to those that want to improve their walking technique. It is in the small details that we become better.

Tonight's Class: Practicing the basic Argentine Tango walk. Various ways of walking with style like a Porteño.

8 pm - 9 pm Beginners Class $10
9 pm - 9:30 pm Practica Included

Afterwards, we will have a free 30 minute Practica to practice what you have learned.

What We Teach

Julia Elena teaches an elegant salon style. When you start the dance, you do not start with a step, you start with a feeling.

Our goal is to teach our students to dance with the music and not just the steps; to dance with a firm embrace for better connection and proper posture for better balance.

Come to the classes and learn these fundamentals. Dance with us just like in the milongas of Buenos Aires. Make your dance a special one which is slowly savored.

Shoes

Leather sole shoes are recommended to make proper turns and to learn properly. No platform shoes.

Partner Not Required

A partner is not required. We switch partners frequently to learn more from others. Bring yourself! Bring a friend!
