This class is for all those that have been fascinated with Argentine Tango and want to start learning in a comfortable setting with a friendly environment.

What We Teach

Julia Elena teaches an elegant salon style or what is called in Argentina, a Milonguero style.

When you start the dance, you do not start with a step, you start with a feeling.

Our goal is to teach our students to dance with the music and not just the steps; to dance with a firm embrace for better connection and proper posture for better balance.

Come to the classes and learn these fundamentals. Dance with us just like in the milongas of Buenos Aires. Make your dance a special one which is slowly savored!

Shoes

Leather sole shoes are recommended to make proper turns and to learn properly. No platform shoes.

Partner Not Required

A partner is not required as we switch partners frequently to learn more from others. Bring yourself! Bring a friend!

Practica Afterward

Afterwards, we will have a free 30 minute Practica to practice what you have learned.
