Argentinian Diego Ocampo creates a laboratory of movement, keeping the base of traditional tango, but using variations in the mythic Tango Embrace that reveal a new approach to tango in all it’s forms. He believes that tango is not only a dance, but also a form of musical and dramatic expression.
We strive to preserve the authentic way of dancing Argentine Tango.
What We Teach
Caminito Amigo teaches an elegant salon style or what is called in Argentina, a Milonguero style.
When you start the dance, you do not start with a step, you start with a feeling.
Our goal is to teach our students to dance with the music and not just the steps; to dance with a firm embrace for better connection and proper posture for better balance.
Come to the classes and learn these fundamentals. Dance with us just like in the milongas of Buenos Aires. Make your dance a special one which is slowly savored!

Shoes
Leather sole shoes are recommended to make proper turns and to learn properly. No platform shoes.
