About Dance Loft on 14

The Loft is a creative space wrapped in 19th century elegance. Vaulted ceilings and historic gold-leafed cherubs carefully preserved from when DC's famous architect, Charles E. Wire, designed them in 1923 and presented them to the city as the Park Theater on July 1st, 1924 with silent movie heartthrob Thomas Meighan on the silver screen.

The Loft is an interdisciplinary space, a place for actors and musicians; for visual artists; for the professional artist and the novice alike - and now a home for a beautiful Friday night milonga, presented by Tango Mercurio.
